In 2022, I studied abroad in Hogeschool Utrecht situated in the Netherlands. There, I specialised in Immersive Design. After completing the specialization, I found that this area really interested me as there is so much you can do and apply immersive design to. I completed 3 projects, each exploring different theories, techniques and mediums as I wanted to expand my skillset and explore as much as possible.
Our first project tasked us to recreate a mobile app that is aimed towards tourists visiting Utrecht. It included AR and trigger images.

The second project allowed us to work with a client, it benefited me greatly to be placed in a professional context and to be introduced to their workflow.

The brief was to create and experience for he target audience of 4-7 year old's in the National Museum of Media (Sound and Vision). They had been rebuilding and creating a new exhibition in the museum and found it hard to keep the target audience interested while still learning. So through using theories, different mediums and testing we came up with our final product. A character to help them through the museum but while giving them challenges and rewards along the way. Alongside a fellow student, we created AR and AR with trigger images. We communicated with the client giving weekly presentations and pitches to them until we completed out final prototype which they were very happy with.
The final project we title "Elapsed Frequencies", sent the user on a journey through music, showing the development of music throughout the years, above is my portion of the projection visuals we created. They were then projected onto four walls that we create to make an enclosed space for the user.
